About the role
Fast-growing international hih-tech company with an office in Malta, looking for a hands-on Head of HR to develop the local HR.
This is a key role for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to have real impact on how HR is structured and delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Build and develop the HR function locally
Design and implement HR processes, policies, and frameworks
Oversee full employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, development, offboarding)
Lead recruitment for Malta office roles
Support and coach managers on HR and people matters
Ensure compliance with Maltese employment law
Oversee basic HR operations and office support
Act as HR partner to leadership on people strategy
Requirements
3–4+ years of HR experience in a standalone or lead HR role
Experience building HR processes in fast-growing or startup environments
Hands-on, operational mindset
Experience in IT, fintech, iGaming or BPO industries - MUST HAVE
Exposure to customer-facing / operations-heavy teams (e.g. CS, VIP, CRM, Operations)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of Maltese labour law is an advantage
