<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strategic partnerships at Yalo have moved past the coordination phase. The next phase requires someone who carries — not orchestrates. Someone who can sit across the table from a Meta, Google, or Salesforce counterpart and hold the full conversation: technical, commercial, contractual, strategic. Without escalation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">But this is more than a revenue role. It's a strategic-optionality role. The right person sees partnerships through two lenses at once: the revenue/distribution lens <em>and</em> the long-term strategic-value lens. They architect relationships today that compound into optionality tomorrow — including pathways to strategic capital, acquisition, or category-defining alliances.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Build Yalo's strategic partnerships function into a self-sufficient, end-to-end value-creation engine — anchored by <strong>co-creating new products with strategic partners</strong> that generate Yalo's first dollar of partner-sourced ARR. Carry the top relationships personally with full technical and commercial depth, ship new offerings <em>with</em> partners (not through them), and create the strategic landscape that bends Yalo's long-term growth toward category-defining alliances and pathways to strategic capital.</span></p>

<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">1. End-to-end ownership of strategic partnerships</span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Top 15 strategic accounts: full ownership of commercial, technical, contractual, and relational front.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Direct peer-level relationships with executives at Meta, Google, Salesforce, AWS, McKinsey, and others in Yalo's ecosystem.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Execute on the Marketplace strategies</span></li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2. Self-sufficient depth </span></h3>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Product depth at the architecture level</strong> </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Pricing fluency</strong> </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Agent architecture understanding</strong> — firsthand. You've built or operated with conversational AI agents. You can speak to limits and what's becoming possible.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Competitive depth</strong> — clear, unprompted POV on competitive landscape. Where we're stronger, where we're weaker, why.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Selling mechanics</strong> — how deals actually move, what objections come up, what closes them.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">If you can't walk into a partner meeting alone, hold the technical-and-commercial conversation, and close, this role is not for you.</span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3. Strategic-investment thinking</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You see partnerships through both lenses simultaneously:</span></p>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Revenue lens:</strong> pipeline, co-sell, channel motions, ARR contribution.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Strategic-optionality lens:</strong> which partnerships build pathways to strategic capital, channel ownership, technology positioning, or acquisition optionality.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 12pt;">4. Hands-on technical and solutions work — you do it yourself</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Until the function scales, you <em>are</em> the team. That means:</span></p>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Design and deliver demos</strong> tailored to partner ecosystems and customer use cases — yourself, not via someone else's calendar.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Build technical partnership playbooks</strong>: demos, solution architectures, use cases, integration flows, sales collateral. Repeatable so the team you eventually hire can scale them.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value</strong> for both technical and non-technical audiences at partner orgs.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Guide technical discussions</strong> around APIs, integrations, architecture, AI workflows, scalability — as the credible counterpart in the room.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Run co-selling motions</strong> alongside partner sales teams. You're not just sourcing the meeting; you're in the deal.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This is not delegated. This is the day-job until you build the bench.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5. Cross-functional integration without cross-functional dependency</span></h3>

<li><strong>10–15+ years</strong> across partnerships, business development, corporate development, or strategic alliances.</li>
<li>A mix of (a) <strong>large platform</strong> experience — Google, Meta, Salesforce, AWS, or comparable — <em>and</em> (b) <strong>startup/scaleup operating</strong> experience. Both matter.</li>
<li>Has <strong>closed strategic partnerships at $5M+ TCV</strong> with documented commercial outcomes.</li>
<li>Has <strong>built or scaled a partnerships function</strong> from sub-10 partners to 20+ partners.</li>
<li>Has <strong>been involved in or adjacent to strategic transactions</strong> — M&A, secondaries, strategic investments. This can come from corp dev experience, investment banking background, VC operating role, or founder-level exposure.</li>
<li>MBA, CFA, or strategic finance / corp dev background is a strong plus — but operating muscle matters more than credential.<span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong><br></strong></span></li>
