The Job

As an Accounts Executive, you will support the finance function by ensuring accurate financial records and efficient processing of transactions.

• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring they are aligned with approved purchase orders and quotations
• Reconciling supplier statements and preparing payments accordingly
• Monitoring accounts payable and receivable activities
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
• Liaising with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
• Supporting accruals and prepayments analysis
• Assisting in month-end closing procedures
• Preparing ad hoc reports as requested by the Financial Controller
• Your responsibilities will include:

 

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Shireburn accounting software will be considered an asset
