Within this framework, we are looking for a hands-on “ Lead Health & Safety Engineer” to make a meaningful impact on our organization’s safety culture.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Workplace Safety Monitoring and Incident Prevention
- Lead and coordinate workplace safety inspections, ensuring prompt reporting and resolution of Health & Safety non-compliances
- Investigate occupational accidents; validate root-cause analysis and approve preventive and corrective actions
- Ensure proper selection, availability, and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all work sites
Regulatory Compliance & Contractor Supervision
- Lead the continuous monitoring and interpretation of Health & Safety legislation, ensuring policies align with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Approve occupational risk studies and Health & Safety plans for technical projects.
- Review and refine Health & Safety sections of draft project contracts in collaboration with project teams.
- Oversee subcontractors’ performance regarding Health & Safety, ensuring compliance and managing escalation when requirements are not met
Health & Safety Trainings
- Organize the development and delivery of Health & Safety training programs
- Organize the execution of fire safety and alarm drills
Requirements
- University or Technical Institute graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Energy Technology Engineering
- Excellent command of English and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Learning agility and the ability to guide and coach others
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of the ISO 45001 standard
- Knowledge of National and European Health and Safety Legislation
- ·Knowledge of Photo / Video Editing or other media creation software (e.g. Unity)
