About the role
C.O. Williams Asphalt and Quarries Limited is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Heavy Equipment and Truck Mechanic.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced mechanical repairs and maintenance on company equipment and trucks.
- Diagnose faults and determine effective repair solutions.
- Plan and execute repair work efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records and liaise with supervisory staff on work activities.
- Promote safety standards and provide support, including training and road service as required.
Skills and Competencies
- Certification in Automotive Mechanics or
any related field. - Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in mechanical repairs
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks
