Associate Hedge Fund Sales - London

SilverTide is looking for talented associates with a few years of financial sales-side experience to join our Hedge Fund Sales team based right by Bank Station. This full-time, on-site role offers significant career growth opportunities. You'll start by working closely with experienced salespeople, receiving comprehensive training and support. Our goal is to help you quickly transition to building and maintaining your own client relationships.   
 

We provide extensive training in product knowledge (Interest Rate Swaps and Listed Futures and Options), sales techniques, macroeconomics, and trading financial markets. We would love for you to have a good of knowledge to build from.  
 

We're looking for graduates with at least 2 years of relevant financial experience, such as broking, trading, structuring, or roles involving fixed income. Direct experience of fixed income sales is a major plus.   
 

Key qualities for this role include strong self-motivation, excellent people skills, high emotional intelligence, and a solid understanding of markets and macroeconomics.  Product expertise and experience in the instruments listed above is a major advantage. 

 

 

What are we looking for?   

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Fixed Income/IRS  
 

- Proven strong performance in previous roles (references needed)   
 

- Demonstrated drive and self-motivation   
 

- Strong understanding of markets and macroeconomics is beneficial   
 

- Someone that works with Integrity and wants to grow their career   
 

- Experience of Fixed Income Sales for institutional investors - is essential.  Trading, structuring, strategy, middle office or similar roles would fit these criteria.   

 

Working in e-system sales, prime brokerage, business management or similar roles would not fit these criteria.
