The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed school is looking to appoint a new History Teacher to join their History department. History is an extremely popular and thriving subject in the school with excellent outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a History teacher looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment. This role would suit an aspirational History teacher looking for a role in middle leadership and/or is the perfect role for a candidate might be looking to develop further.

The successful History Teacher will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of History. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.

The school is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving History and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture, and their Ofsted report (2020) graded the school as Ofsted rated ‘Good’.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in History or similar
- QTS or PGCE
Salary
The salary for this History Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
