Work location may vary depending on business needs.</p> <hr> <h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2> <p>At LUX Infusion, our Registered Nurses play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the home infusion setting. This position focuses on <strong>nutritional support and intravenous (IV) therapy</strong>, supporting patients through education, treatment administration, and ongoing clinical monitoring.</p> <p>You will work both <strong>independently and collaboratively</strong> to ensure safe and effective transitions from hospital to home, while empowering patients to manage their therapies confidently.</p> <hr> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Patient Care &amp; Clinical Services</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Conduct initial and ongoing <strong>patient assessments</strong>, including physical and nutritional evaluations</li> <li>Administer <strong>IV, IM, and SC therapies</strong> in accordance with physician orders</li> <li>Perform <strong>peripheral IV starts/restarts</strong>, central line care, and lab draws</li> <li>Monitor patients for <strong>clinical progress, complications, and treatment effectiveness</strong></li> <li>Provide <strong>education and training</strong> to patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and self-care</li> <li>Coordinate delivery of medications, supplies, and any additional home equipment (DME)</li> </ul> <hr> <h3><strong>Care Coordination &amp; Case Management</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure smooth transition from hospital to home</li> <li>Communicate patient progress and changes in condition to providers in a timely manner</li> <li>Participate in <strong>patient care conferences and interdisciplinary collaboration</strong></li> <li>Assume <strong>case management responsibilities</strong> for assigned patients</li> </ul> <hr> <h3><strong>Documentation &amp; Compliance</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough <strong>clinical documentation</strong></li> <li>Follow all <strong>LUX Infusion policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols</strong></li> <li>Participate in <strong>Performance Improvement initiatives, Patient Safety Committee, and Emergency Preparedness programs</strong></li> <li>Ensure compliance with <strong>corporate compliance and regulatory standards</strong></li> </ul> <hr> <h3><strong>Professional Development &amp; Team Support</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Maintain clinical competency through <strong>ongoing education and training</strong></li> <li>Support onboarding and mentoring of new Registered Nurses</li> <li>Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and patient-focused team environment</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Graduate of an <strong>NLN-accredited nursing program</strong></li> <li>Active <strong>Registered Nurse (RN) license</strong> in practicing state</li> <li><strong>1+ year IV therapy experience</strong>, including nutritional support and/or immunoglobulin therapy</li> </ul> <p><strong>OR</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>2+ years recent <strong>acute care experience</strong>, or completion of a <strong>3-month RN home infusion apprenticeship</strong></p> </li> <li> <p><strong>CPR certification</strong> (within 30 days of hire)</p> </li> <li> <p>Valid <strong>driver’s license</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>Strong clinical knowledge in <strong>IV therapy and nutrition support</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent <strong>communication, organization, and time management skills</strong></p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work <strong>independently under remote supervision</strong></p> </li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience in <strong>home infusion nursing</strong></li> <li>Participation in <strong>professional nursing organizations</strong></li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Key Skills &amp; Competencies</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Strong <strong>clinical assessment and critical thinking</strong> abilities</li> <li>High level of <strong>accuracy and attention to detail</strong></li> <li>Excellent <strong>patient engagement and education skills</strong></li> <li>Effective <strong>verbal and written communication</strong></li> <li>Proficiency with clinical systems and relevant technology</li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Why Join LUX Infusion?</strong></h2> <p>At LUX, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our clinicians with the tools, training, and flexibility they need to succeed.
