<p><strong>The role…</strong></p>
<p>At Soho House the <strong>Greeters </strong>values the safety of all members, guests, and staff and ensures the Soho House experience is not compromised. It is a crucial aspect of this role to monitor site activity throughout the premises and be well-versed in local laws and regulations that support the daily functions of a high-volume members club, hotel, spa, gym, beach/pool, food and beverage operations.</p>
<p>A successful Greeter will be dependable, proactive, punctual, and always remains professional and approachable. You will have a strong attention to detail, follow through, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize needs while maintaining composure, focused and achieving deliverable goals.</p>
<p><strong>Main Duties</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Greets and directs all members/guests with open arms and in a hospitable manner</li>
<li>Build relationships with members/guests and communicate any red flags and positive feedback for management to assess</li>
<li>Ensure any guest related concerns are addressed and action items have been set and a manager is notified</li>
<li>Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional</li>
<li>Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; preventing trespassers</li>
<li>Ensure events and House experiences maintain the Soho House experience but are also safe, secure, and meet local standards</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment</li>
<li>Controls traffic flow by directing foot traffic</li>
<li>Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills/Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in customer service focused role preferred</li>
<li>Strong communication and people skills while also cognizant of the bottom line and supporting the team to ensure we optimize the opportunity to generate various revenue streams</li>
<li>Problem solving skills and bring conflict resolution to any anticipated or current matter</li>
<li>Detailed oriented, articulate and the ability to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding work environment</li>
<li>An essential part of the job is being available on a flexible schedule and being willing to work outside “office hours”. For example, nights, weekends and holidays (as needed and when applicable). This may or may not be required on a regular basis, but is mandatory when needed</li>
<li>Friendly and approachable as well as proven written and oral communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines</li>
<li>Emotional control and professionalism</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.</li>
<li>Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.</li>
<li>Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.</li>
<li>Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.</li>
<li>Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.</li>
