Tandem was also awarded Investor in Customers’ Gold Standard based on customer and employee feedback and is a Certified™ Great Place to Work®.   Tandem is growing fast and helping to shape the future of sustainable banking.  Your team: Collaborators in change   Tandem is proud to offer a workplace with diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds which leads to a unique company culture for our people and a better experience for our customers.    The HR Advisor is responsible for providing professional and effective advice to the Bank’s employees in line with current employment legislation, regulatory guidelines, company policy and best practice.     The post holder will collaborate closely with managers to address HR queries, manage employee relations, and foster a positive working environment.   The HR advisor will support the wider HR team to deliver key initiatives to improve the overall development and wellbeing of employees.    Your Impact: Building a sustainable tomorrow   As a HR Advisor at Tandem your focus will be on:   <ul> <li>Provide the business with professional advice which is legally compliant and in line with Tandem’s brand. Key areas of advice may include; absence management, misconduct, gross misconduct, performance, FCA conduct rules, restructures, conflict resolution (This list is not exhaustive).  </li> <li>Review existing HR policies, templates, and documentation, creating a single source of truth and streamlining a central portfolio of clear, consistent, and readily accessible documents. </li> <li>Regularly meet with team leaders and managers to understand the People challenges in their area, highlighting risks & issues and agreeing improvement actions; escalate relevant issues to line manager when relevant.  </li> <li>Develop and maintain HR policies, processes and supporting documentation (e.g. letters) ensuring the Bank meets all legal and regulatory requirements, and actioning improvement opportunities.  </li> <li>Through policies, processes and behaviours operate in line with Tandem’s brand and values.   </li> <li>Ensure the language of all communications e.g. letters are professional, consistent and in line with Tandem’s brand.   </li> <li>Support the HR team with change initiatives e.g. organisational change/restructure activity.  </li> <li>Support the Bank’s regular people initiatives including;
