About the Role

As a member of the HR Transformation Team, the HR Data Product Manager is accountable for the definition, prioritization, championing, and, most importantly, delivery of trusted, high-value HR data products that enable strategic workforce decisions and operational excellence across McCormick.

This role operates at the intersection of HR, Data & Analytics, and Technology — working in close partnership with Transformation & Technology (including Data & Analytics, Data Governance, Information Security, and Technology teams) and GBS (including Automation and Data Science & Engineering teams). The HR Data Product Manager connects people, platforms, and processes to establish a trusted, intelligent, and connected HR data foundation that supports enterprise workforce strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, compliance, and long-term growth.

This position requires strong business acumen in HR processes, data fluency, product management discipline, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a global environment. The HR Data Product Manager plays a critical role in advancing a data-driven HR function and enabling evidence-based talent decisions that accelerate McCormick’s global performance and culture strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for HR data products aligned with People & Culture and enterprise data priorities.
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of HR data products using Agile methodologies.
  • Translate HR business requirements into clear user stories and manage the product backlog.
  • Partner with Data Engineering teams to deliver secure, high‑quality, and accessible HR data products.
  • Ensure compliance with employee data privacy regulations and enterprise data governance standards.
  • Drive data quality, lineage, metadata, and security standards across core HR domains.
  • Monitor adoption, performance, and business impact of HR data products and drive continuous improvement.
  • Enable stakeholders to effectively discover, understand, and responsibly use trusted HR data.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, HR, or related field.
  • Experience in data product management, data strategy, or data governance within a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and workforce data domains.
  • Knowledge of data architecture, governance, metadata management, and modern data product concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional environments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data solutions to workforce outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • High data literacy, analytical thinking, and ownership mindset.
