HR Officer

<p>As part of our HR Operations team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer with a focus on <strong>payroll, benefits, </strong>and<strong> HR operations</strong>.</p> <p>In this role, you will contribute to accurate and compliant payroll and benefits administration, while supporting broader HR operations and driving process improvements. You will work in a fast-paced, international environment where precision, ownership, and collaboration are key.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Play a key role in the payroll execution, including validations, and reconciliations</li> <li>Administer employee benefits, including pensions and insurances</li> <li>Coordinate external vendors and providers (such as Dutch and foreign payroll)</li> <li>Take an active role in improving and optimizing benefits processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, communication, and employee experience</li> <li>Contribute to the ongoing development of the benefits offering, using insights and operational experience to support improvements over time</li> <li>Handle employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, and benefits</li> <li>Identify and support improvements in HR and payroll processes, including automation using AI and digital tools</li> <li>Maintain accurate employee records and prepare contracts and documentation</li> <li>Support HR data processing, reporting, and audits using HR systems (e.g. Workday) and Excel</li> <li>Support HR operations across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, changes)</li> <li>Work closely with the HR Operations team and provide support across activities when needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field</li> <li>1-3 year of experience in HR Operations, with exposure to benefits administration</li> <li>Understanding of, or interest in Dutch payroll and labor regulations</li> <li>Drive to leverage AI to enhance efficiency</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and data accuracy</li> <li>Comfortable working with HR systems and Excel</li> <li>Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented</li> <li>Team player with a flexible mindset</li> <li>Strong communication skills in English</li> <li>Dutch language skills are strongly preferred, but not required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who we are&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>At Optiver, our mission is to constantly improve the market by injecting liquidity, providing accurate pricing, increasing transparency and acting as a stabilizing force no matter the market conditions.
