The Role
T1 Energy is looking to hire a Senior HR Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for leading and optimizing the employee onboarding experience from offer acceptance through successful integration into the organization. This role serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, hiring managers, IT, facilities, payroll, and new hires to ensure a seamless, engaging, and compliant onboarding process. The Senior HR Onboarding Coordinator drives process improvements, maintains onboarding programs and documentation, tracks key onboarding metrics, and provides exceptional support to employees during their transition into the company.
What You’ll Do
Onboarding Program Management
· Coordinate and manage end-to-end onboarding activities for new employees across multiple locations and business units.
· Ensure all pre-employment and onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
· Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and onboarding events.
· Partner with hiring managers to create effective onboarding plans and ensure timely completion of onboarding milestones.
· Monitor onboarding progress and proactively address issues that may impact employee readiness or engagement.
Employee Experience
· Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process.
· Deliver a welcoming and positive onboarding experience that reflects company culture and values.
· Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, systems access, and onboarding requirements.
· Gather feedback from new hires and managers to continuously improve onboarding effectiveness.
Process Improvement & Compliance
· Evaluate and enhance onboarding processes, workflows, and documentation to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
· Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, company policies, and recordkeeping requirements.
· Ensure accurate completion and retention of employment documentation, including I-9s and other required forms.
· Support audits and compliance reviews related to onboarding and personnel records.
Cross-Functional Coordination
· Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Payroll, IT, Facilities, Security, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth employee transition.
· Coordinate equipment requests, system access, workspace readiness, and required training assignments.
· Assist with employee transfers, promotions, and other workforce transitions as needed.
Reporting & Analytics
· Track and report onboarding metrics, including new hire satisfaction, onboarding completion rates, time-to-productivity, and retention indicators.
· Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate onboarding-related reports.
· Identify trends and recommend improvements based on onboarding outcomes and employee feedback.
Leadership & Mentorship
· Provide guidance and support to HR Coordinators and other team members involved in onboarding activities.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on onboarding processes and best practices.
· Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support organizational growth and employee engagement.
Who You Are
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 5+ years of HR, onboarding, employee experience, or related human resources experience.
· Strong knowledge of onboarding practices, employment documentation, and HR compliance requirements. Experience working with HRIS systems and onboarding platforms.
· Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology systems.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments.
Experience leading onboarding process improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple states.
