Joining our team means working in a truly global environment, collaborating with colleagues across regions, and contributing to projects that shape HR services globally.     <h2>A taster of what you will be involved with:  </h2> <ul> <li>Lead and develop the HR Shared Services team, ensuring consistent delivery of core HR processes (contracting, onboarding, employee changes, offboarding). </li> <li>Design, build and implement HR Shared Services Ways of Working and frameworks, including process ownership, documentation, hand-offs and escalation paths. </li> <li>Drive automation and digitalisation across HR Shared Services, working with HR Systems Specialist to streamline workflows, reduce manual touchpoints and improve accuracy (e.g., auto-contract generation, workflow triggers, document issuing, notifications). </li> <li>Apply AI and innovative tools to reduce repetitive administrative workload and increase service efficiency where appropriate. </li> <li>Standardise and simplify HR administrative processes, removing unnecessary steps and ensuring the same quality of delivery in every location. </li> <li>Define clear request channels and intake Ways of working so HR Shared Services operates as a structured, predictable service rather than reactive or ad hoc. </li> <li>Create and maintain HR Process Ways of Working (handbooks, templates, checklists) to ensure consistency across all lifecycle activities. </li> <li>Partner with HR Managers globally to ensure alignment on compliance requirements and process execution. </li> <li>Work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely transfer of data. </li> <li>Act as operational escalation point for HR delivery issues and proactively resolve structural gaps. </li> <li>Continuously improve service quality, using data insights, root-cause analysis and feedback loops to drive maturity and scale. </li> </ul>   <h2>What we are looking for:  </h2> <ul> <li>5–6 years’ experience within an HR Shared Services or HRIS-focused role. </li> <li>At least 2 years’ experience leading a team within HR Operations or HR Shared Services. </li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. </li> <li>Strong background in designing and implementing HR processes, frameworks and ways of working, including documentation, hand-offs and escalation paths. </li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing and delivering exceptional HR services at scale across global, high-volume operations. </li> <li>Hands-on experience with HRIS systems is a must, ideally using SAGE People. </li> <li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel. </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to drive automation, design workflows and use innovative tools or AI to streamline administrative processes. </li> </ul>   <h2>Why Join Us?  </h2> <ul> <li>Shape important decisions in a data-driven environment where insights make a real impact. </li> <li>Collaborate with a global team of innovators who value teamwork and continuous learning. </li> <li>Join a publicly listed company renowned for its strong market presence. </li> <li>Contribute to global projects while based in Malta. </li> <li>Gain exposure to international best practices and accelerate your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. </li> </ul> Much like a rollercoaster, life at Betsson Group is fast-paced, full of twists and turns, and always exciting.
