By expertly personalizing, automating, and scaling beautiful one-to-one experiences, Wunderkind helps brands acquire new customers at scale and keep them loyal for life.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>About the Role:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">As the HR Systems Manager (Workday &amp; AI), you will be based remotely within the UK, with a preference (though not essential) for someone who can occasionally commute to the Manchester area for co-working sessions.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The primary aim of this role is to serve as our internal Workday helpdesk while simultaneously acting as the HR department's dedicated AI, automation, and integration expert. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing all areas of our HR technology stack, building seamless automation workflows, and systematically decluttering highly complex Workday configurations and data to ensure operational scalability.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Act as the primary helpdesk support resource for all internal Workday queries, troubleshooting configurations, and resolving data discrepancies.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Serve as the HR department's leading expert on generative AI tools, modern automation workflows, and custom platform integrations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Audit, refine, and systematically declutter highly complex Workday configurations, core business processes, and underlying data architectures.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Optimize and continuously manage all areas of our broader HR technology stack to ensure performance, compliance, and cross-platform synchronization.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Design, build, and maintain smooth integrations between Workday and supplementary applications to eliminate manual administrative bottlenecks.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate cross-functionally to identify automation opportunities within core HR processes, leveraging AI models to drive team efficiency and scale operations.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Help develop and operationalize best practices by creating system training materials, clear technical documentation, and customer-facing guides for internal teams.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;">About You:</span></h3> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, analytical, and forward-thinking systems professional with a passion for HR technology and artificial intelligence. Most importantly, you will exhibit the following traits:</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities coupled with superb communication skills to relay your solutions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Detail-oriented with a sharp focus on data integrity, configuration hygiene, and project prioritization.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">An entrepreneurial and resourceful mindset, particularly regarding how emerging AI technologies can streamline traditional operational workflows.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where technical systems and responsibilities may shift.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A healthy dose of humility and a deeply collaborative mindset to support the wider team as a dedicated resource</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Required Qualifications:</span></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A non-negotiable minimum of 3 years of deep, hands-on technical experience working in-depth with Workday system administration and configuration</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Workday PRO HCM certification is a strong advantage</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrable experience working with generative AI tools, connecting these to big data to support stakeholder decision-making, reporting and agentic operations — with a strong preference for practical exposure to Claude and/or Gemini.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prior hands-on experience or functional familiarity with any of our remaining tech stack platforms sits in the highly desirable category: Lattice, Greenhouse, Jira, Google Workspace, and ADP.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proven track record of managing system integrations, data cleaning operations, and technical system overhauls.</span></li> </ul>
