About the role

Eram Talent is actively seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy in the Oil & Energy sector, we are committed to aligning top-tier talent with remarkable opportunities. The HSE Officer will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental processes to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies across all operations.

The HSE Officer will work closely with various teams to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain HSE management systems and protocols to comply with local and international standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Facilitate training and awareness sessions to enhance safety culture among employees.
  • Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
  • Ensure all HSE documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
  • Promote a proactive safety environment by encouraging reporting and addressing safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective implementation of health and safety measures.
  • Support in the development and execution of emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required to enhance HSE performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience in HSE roles
  • Comprehensive understanding of HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and implement effective HSE training programs.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as necessary.
  • Adept at working independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with emergency preparedness and response initiatives.
