About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Foster a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts
- Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Mediate disputes and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the performance appraisal process.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
- Ensure company policies comply with labor laws.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and practices.
- Assist in payroll administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 - 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics sector.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
