About the role
What are you going to do?
In this role, you will serve as a key resource for employee relations and HR support, acting as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, and workplace concerns. You will assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management, while partnering with managers to provide guidance on coaching, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives.
You will support HR administration and compliance by maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. This includes consistently administering company policies and contributing to workplace safety and compliance efforts. Additionally, you will manage employee benefits programs, assist with enrollments and changes, respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and leave programs, and collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy in employee data and timekeeping.
This role also involves coordinating training and development initiatives, tracking employee certifications, and supporting leadership and skill-building programs. You will maintain HRIS data integrity, generate reports related to headcount, turnover, and compliance, and identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance HR systems. Leveraging modern HR technologies and AI-enabled tools, you will help analyze workforce trends, support data-driven decision-making, and identify opportunities to automate HR processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience.
We ask
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
2–5 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field(preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
