As a Lead HVAC Technician, you will set the standard for technical excellence, customer experience, and team performance at Plumbing Systems Inc. (PSI).</p> <h4 data-section-id="m3dslj" data-start="348" data-end="369">What You’ll Do Here</h4> <ol data-start="371" data-end="1588"> <li data-section-id="2ewccy" data-start="371" data-end="490">Lead and perform advanced HVAC diagnostics, service, and installation on residential and light commercial systems.</li> <li data-section-id="x2qaom" data-start="491" data-end="586">Serve as the on-site technical expert, supporting and guiding technicians and apprentices.</li> <li data-section-id="1w0bx0c" data-start="587" data-end="684">Establish strong customer rapport and confidently recommend the right products and services.</li> <li data-section-id="73onyb" data-start="685" data-end="780">Ask strategic lifestyle and system-use questions to accurately troubleshoot system issues.</li> <li data-section-id="1hr5ide" data-start="781" data-end="872">Educate customers on repair vs. replacement options, financing, and maintenance plans.</li> <li data-section-id="gubs3i" data-start="873" data-end="958">Identify and present replacement opportunities for aging or inefficient systems.</li> <li data-section-id="wh3lsp" data-start="959" data-end="1058">Hold yourself and your team accountable to service KPIs, revenue goals, and quality standards.</li> <li data-section-id="1n2du5z" data-start="1059" data-end="1135">Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and up to PSI standards.</li> <li data-section-id="inleyy" data-start="1136" data-end="1218">Maintain a clean, organized job site and a fully stocked, well-managed truck.</li> <li data-section-id="18t024i" data-start="1219" data-end="1330">Collaborate with dispatch and customer service to maximize schedule efficiency and customer satisfaction.</li> <li data-section-id="1wxzv1l" data-start="1331" data-end="1412">Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and junior technicians in the field.</li> <li data-section-id="1b8l1xp" data-start="1413" data-end="1494">Participate in trainings, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li data-section-id="yihizb" data-start="1495" data-end="1588">Ensure accurate and timely completion of invoices, job notes, and system documentation.</li> </ol> <h4 data-section-id="1eg8acf" data-start="1595" data-end="1635">We’d Love To Hear From You If You Have</h4> <ul data-start="1637" data-end="2392"> <li data-section-id="15u9cc7" data-start="1637" data-end="1717">Active HVAC license with strong knowledge of local codes and best practices.</li> <li data-section-id="v4jboz" data-start="1718" data-end="1803">5+ years of HVAC experience with proven leadership or lead technician experience.</li> <li data-section-id="3oobyn" data-start="1804" data-end="1905">Expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems.</li> <li data-section-id="tldnlf" data-start="1906" data-end="1973">Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.</li> <li data-section-id="1ptu04t" data-start="1974" data-end="2024">NATE certification (or willingness to obtain).</li> <li data-section-id="1k3n54a" data-start="2025" data-end="2082">Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.</li> </ul> <p><em>The pay for this position is $35-$45/hour or more depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location, plus performance based incentives.
