We are looking for a driven professional with a strong background in <strong>commercial HVAC sales</strong> who can actively develop new business and build long-term client relationships in a highly competitive environment.</p> <p>This is a <strong>field-based, new business–focused role</strong>. Success requires consistent prospecting, technical credibility, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles with property managers, facility leaders, and commercial decision-makers.</p> <hr> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <h3>New Business Development</h3> <ul> <li>Proactively generate opportunities through <strong>cold outreach, in-person visits, networking, and referral channels</strong></li> <li>Build a <strong>self-sustained pipeline</strong> across the Miami metro area—this role is not dependent on inbound leads</li> <li>Target commercial properties including <strong>office, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, and industrial facilities</strong></li> </ul> <h3>Consultative Selling</h3> <ul> <li>Perform <strong>on-site evaluations</strong> to assess system conditions, operational needs, and budget considerations</li> <li>Recommend tailored <strong>HVAC service solutions, maintenance programs, and system upgrades</strong></li> <li>Position offerings based on <strong>energy efficiency, system longevity, and cost savings</strong></li> </ul> <h3>Proposals &amp; Deal Execution</h3> <ul> <li>Create detailed proposals outlining <strong>scope, pricing, timelines, and service value</strong></li> <li>Present solutions clearly and confidently, addressing technical and financial concerns</li> <li>Drive deals to close while maintaining <strong>margin discipline</strong></li> </ul> <h3>Internal Collaboration</h3> <ul> <li>Partner with <strong>estimating, service, and project teams</strong> to ensure accurate scoping and execution</li> <li>Communicate client expectations and job requirements to ensure high-quality delivery</li> </ul> <h3>Account Management &amp; Growth</h3> <ul> <li>Serve as a long-term point of contact to build <strong>lasting client relationships</strong></li> <li>Identify opportunities to expand services, including <strong>preventative maintenance agreements and capital projects</strong></li> <li>Support contract renewals, upsells, and referrals</li> </ul> <h3>Performance Expectations</h3> <ul> <li>Meet or exceed <strong>monthly and quarterly sales targets</strong></li> <li>Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and activity tracking within CRM</li> <li>Consistently demonstrate <strong>disciplined prospecting activity</strong></li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Required Qualifications (Strict)</h2> <ul> <li><strong>2+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical sales experience</strong></li> <li>Proven ability to <strong>prospect, develop, and close net-new business</strong></li> <li>Strong working knowledge of <strong>commercial HVAC systems, service models, and equipment lifecycle sales</strong></li> <li>Experience selling into <strong>facility managers, property managers, or building owners</strong></li> <li>Comfortable working in a <strong>fast-paced, competitive market like Miami</strong></li> <li>Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout South Florida</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Preferred Background</h2> <ul> <li>Existing relationships within the <strong>Miami / South Florida commercial real estate or facilities market</strong></li> <li>Experience selling <strong>service contracts, retrofits, or mechanical upgrades</strong></li> <li>Understanding of <strong>regional factors</strong> such as humidity control, coastal environments, and high-demand cooling systems</li> <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus</li> </ul> <hr> <h2>Compensation &amp; Benefits</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + performance bonuses</strong></li> <li>High earning potential for top performers</li> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>Paid time off and company holidays</li> <li>Ongoing training in both <strong>technical HVAC knowledge and sales execution</strong></li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Who Thrives in This Role</h3> <ul> <li>Sales professionals who <strong>prospect daily and take ownership of their pipeline</strong></li> <li>Individuals who can confidently <strong>discuss HVAC systems with technical buyers</strong></li> <li>Driven performers motivated by <strong>uncapped earnings and measurable results</strong></li> <li>Those who are comfortable working in a <strong>relationship-driven, fast-moving South Florida market</strong></li> </ul> </div>
