HVAC Service Technician

<p>The ideal HVAC Service Technician candidate should have exceptional customer service and HVAC service experience. Successful candidates are organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Service Manager. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Service and repair HVAC systems:</strong> Analyze system issues and identify appropriate repair courses of action; prepare written work cost estimates and customer recommendations. Maintain truck inventory. Ensure necessary tools and equipment for each job are present.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Troubleshoot and resolve issues:</strong> Complete diagnostic troubleshooting of HVAC Systems, checking the layout of existing HVAC devices and units to plan work procedures properly.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Conduct maintenance and repair:</strong> Perform regular system checks and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency. Complete repairs and offer recommendations for ongoing maintenance.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Customer interaction:</strong> Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client concerns with professionalism and courtesy.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Safety and compliance:</strong> Follow all safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
