About the role

The Role
- Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC)
- Preparation of design specifications and documentation
- Clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
- Implementation of control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments
- Remote support during the commissioning and service of HVDC systems
You
- University degree in electrical engineering with focus on energy and control technology and profound professional experience
- Good knowledge of converter- and high voltage technology, as well as in open and closed-loop controls
- Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
- Experience in the configuration of automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
- Excellent English language skills, and German language skills are of advantage
