Anello is currently shipping product and engaged in late-stage trials with various market-leading customers in the Construction, Farming, Trucking, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, and National Security segments.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>Inertial Measurement Units are a fundamental part of modern consumer, automotive, and industrial electronics. ANELLO is developing next generation INS and IMU sensor technology based on silicon photonics based gyroscope technology. The Sr. EE / HW Engineer will own critical aspects of the electrical architecture and implementation, ranging from schematic board design and layout to bring-up, debug, and validation.&nbsp;</p> <p>In this role you will help shape future ANELLO products with a strong sense of ownership and a product-first mentality. You will help identify opportunities and drive new ideas into action, through both hands-on technical work and thoughtful cross-functional collaboration.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ownership of electrical product design from concept to delivery to manufacturing, proactively anticipating and addressing potential roadblocks</li> <li>Create interface boards and systems for manufacturing</li> <li>Manage electrical engineering CAD tools and libraries</li> <li>Work with hardware team to select components and write hardware design specifications for board level assemblies</li> <li>Design schematics and board layouts of medium to high complexity mixed signal PCBA</li> <li>Work closely with Sr ME to ensure board fitment, clearances, and thermal issues are considered during board layout</li> <li>Export accurate manufacturing info to key vendors to ensure board fabrication quality</li> <li>Export accurate BOM information to purchasing team</li> <li>Inspect first articles for IPC610 workmanship</li> <li>Assist with board bring up, debug and standard EE lab work</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BSEE or MSEE degree with emphasis on Analog, Mixed Signal, and DSP Design</li> <li>7+ years’ experience with schematic design, ideally w/Altium for schematic capture and board layout</li> <li>Experience in system designs from concept to mass production</li> <li>Experience with sensor integration including MEMS and GNSS RF design</li> <li>Front-end power supply protection for products</li> <li>Communication buses including RS-232, RS-422, CAN, Ethernet, SPI</li> <li>Track record of delivering working product at product-oriented companies</li> <li>Excellent communications skills</li> <li>Passion for continuous learning and exploring new technologies is highly valued.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Due to U.S. government contract requirements ANELLO works under, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
