Job description:
The Security Coordinator for Iberia (Spain and Portugal) will take ownership of the regional safety strategy, working closely with plant managers and operational teams to prevent accidents, reduce risks, and develop a strong safety culture. This position is based in Pamplona.

Reporting directly to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, the Security Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring compliance with corporate safety policies and local regulations. Its main responsibilities will be to:

  • Deploy the corporate Safety Management System and safety action programs across the region

  • Identify and analyze risks in collaboration with local teams

  • Ensure the strict application of corporate safety standards, such as Life Saving Rules

  • Analyze accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions

  • Organize and coordinate Health & Safety training for personnel, and pilot internal safety audits

  • Lead the Iberia safety network and foster the sharing of best practices

  • Provide operational support and guidance to site management regarding health and safety topics and during high-risk situations


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar function, ideally within a multi-site environment

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required

  • Languages: Fluency in Spanish and professional English are mandatory. French and Portuguese proficiency are highly desired

  • Competences:

    • Strong mastery of Health & Safety practices, including risk analysis, prevention principles, and accident investigation

    • A field-oriented, operational profile capable of interacting effectively with site managers and operational teams in a demanding industrial setting

    • Demonstrable autonomy, pragmatism, and strong analytical skills, along with a diplomatic and proactive approach
