IET Corporation Low Voltage Technician

About Us:
IET Corp is a leader in the installation and integration of low-voltage systems, specializing in telecommunications, electronic security, and AV solutions. We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to help install, configure, and troubleshoot our systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings.

Job Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test structured cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot security, access control, CCTV, and AV systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Work closely superintendent, leads and other team members to complete installations efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Provide basic customer training and support as needed.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in low voltage systems, telecommunications, security, or AV.
- Knowledge of cable installation, termination, and testing.
- Experience with access control, intrusion detection, surveillance systems, or AV equipment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.
- Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA 10/30, or manufacturer-specific training are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
