The role:
We are hiring an Immigration Attorney to provide legal representation and strategic guidance to individuals and families navigating the U.S. immigration system.
This is not a passive, advisory-only role. You’ll actively manage cases, prepare and file immigration applications, represent clients before immigration courts and agencies, advocate for individuals seeking relief from removal, and guide clients through some of the most important of their lives.
You’ll play a hands-on role in case strategy, client advocacy, court representation, and legal analysis. Success in this role requires strong legal knowledge, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a genuine commitment to serving immigrant communities with compassion and professionalism.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
▸ Client Representation & Legal Strategy
• Meet with clients to assess immigration needs and determine available legal options
• Provide legal guidance regarding family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, naturalization, waivers, and other immigration benefits
• Develop case strategies tailored to each client's circumstances and immigration goals
• Prepare clients for interviews, hearings, and other immigration proceedings
▸ Case Preparation & Management
• Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions, applications, waivers, and supporting documentation
• Ensure filings are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner
• Collaborate with legal assistants to manage case progress and maintain efficiency
• Monitor deadlines and proactively address case-related issues
▸ Court & Agency Representation
• Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and other immigration agencies
• Advocate for clients in removal proceedings, asylum hearings, bond hearings, and other immigration court matters
• Handle appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and higher courts when necessary
• Develop persuasive legal arguments and supporting documentation
▸ Asylum & Humanitarian Relief
• Represent asylum seekers and individuals pursuing humanitarian protections
• Prepare compelling legal arguments and supporting evidence
• Guide clients throughout the asylum process with professionalism and compassion
• Stay informed on evolving policies impacting humanitarian-based cases
▸ Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with legal assistants and support staff to ensure an exceptional client experience
• Provide guidance to consultants regarding case strategies and prospective client matters
• Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and policy changes
• Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and client satisfaction

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• Cases are prepared accurately and filed within established timelines
• Clients receive timely responses and exceptional legal representation
• Compliance with all legal and ethical standards is maintained
• Strong collaboration exists between attorneys and legal support staff
• Immigration matters are handled efficiently while maintaining quality and client care
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Bilingual in English and Spanish — required
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active bar license in good standing
• 2+ years of immigration law experience
• Experience handling family-based and humanitarian-based immigration matters
• Strong knowledge of USCIS processes and immigration court procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning and utilizing new technologies
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar business software
• Experience working collaboratively with legal assistants and support staff

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary: $95,000–$120,000, depending on experience
- Bonus eligible
- Remote work environment with occasional in-person attendance required for court hearings and client interviews
