COFRA comprises a diversified group of investment platforms and operating businesses across asset management, private equity, real estate, retail, clean energy and sustainable food — all striving to be a force for good in society and the environment.</p> </div> <h4>Learning Activities</h4> <div>During the internship, you will be exposed to and support selected activities within the Multi-Asset Impact and Private Equity teams, such as: <ul> <li>Observing and contributing to portfolio performance reviews (financial and impact)</li> <li>Supporting data collection and structuring for investment and portfolio analysis</li> <li>Gaining exposure to private markets processes, including capital calls and liquidity tracking</li> <li>Assisting in the preparation of internal analyses and investment materials, where appropriate</li> </ul> <h4>Learning Goals</h4> <p>This internship is designed as a learning pathway towards a future Investment Analyst role within the Investment &amp; Strategy Research (ISR) team.</p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Investment performance analysis</strong><br>Learn how to analyse portfolio and investment performance across return, risk and impact dimensions, including understanding performance drivers</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Market and portfolio insight development</strong><br>Gain exposure to how market developments and investment decisions influence portfolio outcomes and positioning</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Private markets pipeline development</strong><br>Learn how to structure and organise an investment pipeline, including building overviews of potential opportunities and understanding pipeline dynamics</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>ESG &amp; Impact assessment</strong><br>Develop the ability to assess and challenge the ESG and impact performance of external investment managers</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Data structuring and analytical thinking</strong><br>Build skills in organising, analysing and presenting investment data to support decision-making</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Professional investment environment</strong><br>Observe how investment decisions are prepared, discussed and documented within a multi-disciplinary team</p> </li> </ul> </div> <div> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics or a related field</li> <li>Strong interest in investing and financial markets, with curiosity about portfolio construction</li> <li>Demonstrated interest in responsible and impact investing (academic, extracurricular or personal)</li> <li>Solid analytical skills and affinity with working with data</li> <li>Proficient in Excel; familiarity with financial tools or programming (e.g. VBA, Python) is a plus</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English</li> <li>Proactive, curious and structured working style, with a willingness to learn in a team environment</li> </ul> <strong>Additional Information</strong> <ul> <li>Hybrid working arrangement (Amsterdam office and home office)</li> <li>Start date: July 2026</li> <li>Reference checks and a pre-employment screening are part of the hiring process</li> </ul> We are an equal opportunity employer.
