In the coming years, our goal is to rapidly scale our impact by bringing economic opportunities to millions of underserved users in India. With a rapidly growing global presence, we are also looking to expand our client base in the Indian market by partnering with leading Indian enterprises.<br><br><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>We are looking for an Impact Associate who will work closely with the Associate Head – Impact and cross-functional teams to support the design, execution, and tracking of Karya’s impact programs.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role situated at the intersection of program execution, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination. You will help ensure projects run smoothly, insights are captured effectively, and outputs are translated into clear communication for both internal and external stakeholders.</p> <p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>1. Program Execution &amp; Coordination<br>Support day-to-day coordination of ongoing impact projects across internal teams (operations, tech, impact, partnerships) and external stakeholders<br>Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams<br>Assist in organising regular check-ins, documenting outcomes, and driving follow-ups<br>Support preparation of materials for internal and external meetings, including stakeholder updates<br>2. Data, Analysis &amp; Reporting<br>Work with program data to track key metrics, outputs, and impact indicators<br>Build and maintain dashboards to monitor project performance<br>Support analysis of program data to generate insights for decision-making<br>Assist in evaluation-related work (surveys, data cleaning, synthesis of findings)<br>Tools/Software: Excel, SQL, and Python/R/Stata (at least one preferred)<br>3. Communication &amp; Documentation<br>Maintain consistent and structured documentation across all impact projects<br>Support creation of updates for leadership, donors, and partners<br>Document learnings, processes, and key insights for internal use&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Who We’re Looking For</strong><br>Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in consulting, research, program management, data analytics/visualisation, or impact/development<br>Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Development Studies, or related fields<br>Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with data, along with the ability to learn new tools quickly<br>Proficiency in dashboarding, structured analysis, storytelling using traditional as well as AI tools.&nbsp;<br>Good written and verbal communication skills<br>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously<br>Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Good to Have</strong><br>Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis<br>Exposure to impact programs, development sector, or research/evaluation work<br>Comfort working with AI tools and emerging workflows (e.g., AI agents) is a plus<br>People matter at Karya and these are some of the perks and benefits we created for our team:<br>Flexible vacation and leave policy&nbsp;<br>Flexible work options<br>Insurance as per industry standards<br>Access to industry stalwarts and networking opportunities&nbsp;</p> <p>Karya is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.</p> <p><br>Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability. &nbsp;Karya invites all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
