Import Coordinator

<div class="content-intro"><p><span class="hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline"><span class="whitespace-normal">Mallory Alexander International Logistics</span></span>, a global third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking a Logistics Professional to join our growing team.</p></div><p>Our successful candidate is an organized team player with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Track and trace shipments in route via air, ocean, rail, and truck.</li> <li>Open import shipment records in operating system, including bill of lading and various shipment details.</li> <li>Initiate open Cargowise files with all Data Elements to pass to CHB.</li> <li>Update operating system with associated milestones and events, including ETA, and changes to shipment details as notifications are received.</li> <li>Pre-alert &amp; dispatch shipments to domestic transportation provider once release US Customs</li> <li>Ensure timely release and availability of cargo.</li> <li>Report delays to appropriate CSR and supervisor.</li> <li>Review shipment arrival notices, notifications, pick up numbers and add to file Edocs.</li> <li>Coordinate pick-up and delivery with transportation providers FCL LCL and Air.</li> <li>Upload and distribute shipment arrival notices, notifications, pick-up numbers.</li> <li>Manage email and other correspondence, sorting and prioritizing based on message and shipment type/status.</li> <li>Update any changes to shipment details as notifications are received.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school degree or equivalent.</li> <li>3+ years freight forwarding industry.</li> <li>CargoWise experience preferred.</li> <li>Customs Brokerage experience preferred.</li> <li>Excellent organizational, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals to complete work accurately, thoroughly and on tight timelines to best serve customer needs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Why Mallory Alexander?</strong></p> <p>Mallory Alexander International Logistics is a leading full-service logistics provider established in 1925.
