We are a Chinese, Japanese, and Korean street food restaurant, **Magoya B.V.**, and we are looking for a passionate **Independent Chef I** to strengthen our kitchen team. Do you have a passion for cooking and do you enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen environment? Then you are a perfect fit for us! You will assist in preparing dishes and work closely with our kitchen team. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team, and you take responsibility for maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen. **Your Responsibilities:**
- Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
- Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
- Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making corrections where necessary.
- Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
- Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
- Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
- Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods
