India - Hyderabad - Aiviq - Senior Data Platform Support Analyst

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Data Platform Support Analyst</strong> to join our team, supporting and maintaining our <strong>Azure Data Platform</strong> ecosystem. This role requires experience in <strong>Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Synapse Analytics</strong>, along with exposure to <strong>Snowflake</strong>. You will work closely with data Architects, data engineers, and customer services team to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our data platforms.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to <strong>Data Platform Support SLAs and KPIs</strong>, proactively monitoring and responding to incidents.</li> <li>Monitor and maintain <strong>Azure SQL databases</strong>, ensuring optimal performance and availability.</li> <li>Provide support for <strong>Azure Data Factory (ADF)</strong> pipelines, troubleshooting failures and optimizing workflows.</li> <li>Maintain and troubleshoot <strong>Azure Synapse Analytics</strong>, including serverless and dedicated SQL pools.</li> <li>Provide support for <strong>Spark Notebooks in Synapse</strong>, troubleshooting execution failures and optimizing Spark jobs.</li> <li>Provide support for <strong>Apache Spark and Delta Lake</strong>, troubleshooting issues and ensuring performance optimization.</li> <li>Support <strong>Snowflake</strong> workloads and assist in integrating it within our data ecosystem.</li> <li>Monitor and troubleshoot <strong>ETL/ELT processes</strong>, ensuring data integrity and reliability.</li> <li>Work closely with data engineers to optimize database queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.</li> <li>Manage <strong>data security, access control, and compliance</strong> within the Azure Data Platform.</li> <li>Automate routine support tasks using <strong>PowerShell, Python, or Terraform</strong>.</li> <li>Collaborate with DevOps teams for <strong>CI/CD pipeline management and infrastructure as code (IaC)</strong> deployments.</li> <li>Support data governance and metadata management using <strong>Azure Purview</strong> or other data cataloguing tools.</li> <li>Follow internal processes and security guidelines to maintain data platform integrity and compliance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5+ years</strong> of experience in a <strong>data platform support</strong> or <strong>database administration</strong> role.</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>Azure SQL, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, and storage management in a cloud environment</strong>.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Spark Notebooks in Synapse</strong> and troubleshooting Spark-based workloads.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Apache Spark and Delta Lake</strong>, troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing data pipelines.</li> <li>Exposure to <strong>Snowflake</strong> and experience in troubleshooting its queries and integrations.</li> <li>Understanding of <strong>ETL/ELT processes</strong>, data ingestion strategies, and performance tuning.</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>PowerShell, Python, or SQL scripting</strong> for automation and support tasks.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights</strong> for performance monitoring.</li> <li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an ability to resolve complex issues.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>ITIL framework</strong> and incident management best practices.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with <strong>Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Bicep</strong> for infrastructure deployment.</li> <li>Knowledge of <strong>Azure Purview</strong> for data governance.</li> <li>Certification in <strong>Azure Data Engineer or Azure SQL Admin</strong> is a plus.</li> <li>Exposure with <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Aiviq</strong></p> <p>Aiviq is growing UK-based FinTech, specialising in developing SaaS products for the world’s investment<br>Managers.
