About the role
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute manual soldering for SMT and Thru-Hole components to IPC-A-610 standards
- Repair PCBs using tools including soldering irons, hot air guns, and de-soldering tools
- Rework and replace components on damaged or failed boards
- Report recurring or complex issues to Supervisor
- Maintain clean and safe soldering workstations according to 5S standards and ESD-safe work practices
- Identify and correct soldering defects such as cold joints, solder bridges, and insufficient solder
- Maintain repair logs, part usage, and record completion of tasks
- Perform visual inspections under magnification or microscope for solder quality
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; ICP610 and IPC771/21 preferred
- 1 year experience in a related field required
- Basic computer skills required
- Lifting/Carrying/Pushing/Pulling up to 25lbs
- Standing/Sitting/Walking for 8+ hours per day
