About Us:
We are a well-established lumber company specializing in luxury building products, including exotic hardwood decking and siding, as well as domestic and exotic hardwood lumber and flooring. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for responsible, motivated, energetic, and friendly individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us. Job Description:
This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to create and maintain sales of high-end building products, including decking, decking fasteners and accessories, hardwood lumber and flooring, and more. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Product Knowledge: Learn and master the company’s products and operational procedures.
  • Sales Communication: Articulate the benefits of products to prospective customers via phone, aligning solutions to their needs.
  • Competitor Analysis: Understand the competition to enhance your sales success.
  • Proactive Sales: Actively seek out new business opportunities through warm and cold calls to both prospective and existing customers.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain relationships for repeat business.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the operations team to ensure high-quality customer service and customer satisfaction.

 

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Occasional Saturday half days, as needed.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
  • Full-time benefits after 90 days, including:
    • Paid vacation, sick, and holiday time

Job Requirements:
We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • Organization Skills: Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organizational abilities.
  • Responsibility: Consistent punctuality and accountability.
  • Initiative: Aggressive, competitive, and committed to sales success.
  • Positive Attitude: Professionalism, teamwork, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

 

Ideal Experience & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of lumber measurements and basic construction (preferred but not required).
  • Phone sales experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
