About the Role
We are looking for a motivated recent university or college graduate to join our Langley branch as an Inside Sales Representative.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in sales, customer service, branch operations, or wholesale distribution. You will gain hands-on experience supporting customers, learning technical products, preparing quotes, processing orders, working with Outside Sales, and understanding how a busy branch operates.
In this role, you will learn how to:
- Provide customer service and technical support to customers
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare quotations, bids, letters, and customer documentation
- Follow up on quotes, orders, pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines
- Work with the Outside Sales team to support existing customers and help grow new opportunities
- Learn customer needs and recommend products or solutions where appropriate
- Educate customers on the features and benefits of our products and services
- Support walk-in customer traffic at the branch
- Coordinate with warehouse and yard teams to help ensure orders are picked, prepared, and completed accurately
- Assist with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and general branch support when needed
- Use internal systems and technology to complete orders, quotes, and customer follow-up
- Support general sales, branch, and marketing initiatives as required
The Langley branch is a busy, customer-facing environment where priorities can change throughout the day. You may be balancing customer calls, walk-in traffic, quote requests, order entry, product questions, and follow-up with the warehouse or Outside Sales team.
This is not just an order entry role. You will be expected to ask questions, take ownership of customer requests, follow through on commitments, and build trust with customers and teammates.
You will receive training and support as you learn the business, products, systems, and branch processes.
Over time, this role can provide exposure to inside sales, outside sales, account management, branch operations, and leadership pathways depending on performance, business needs, and available opportunities.
