This role works under the direction of a Project Manager and or Lead Technician and is ideal for technicians with hands‑on low‑voltage experience who are looking to grow their skills in the security and access control space.</p> <hr> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Assist with daily on‑site installation activities as directed by the Project Manager or Lead Technician</li> <li>Install and support: <ul> <li>Access control systems (controllers, readers, locks, power supplies)</li> <li>CCTV systems (IP and analog, including cloud‑managed platforms)</li> <li>Structured cabling systems (copper and fiber)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Maintain jobsite safety and follow LEK installation standards</li> <li>Work efficiently as part of a field team on active construction sites</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Technical Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Install and configure door controllers, readers, electrified hardware, and power supplies</li> <li>Assist with troubleshooting low‑voltage cabling, PoE, and basic network connectivity issues</li> <li>Terminate and test copper and fiber cabling</li> <li>Support Lead Technicians with system installations and testing</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Required Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>2+ years of low‑voltage or security system experience</li> <li>Prior low‑voltage and cabling installation experience</li> <li>Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Preferred Experience</h3> <ul> <li>Previous experience with access control and camera systems</li> <li>Fiber termination, fusion splicing, and testing experience</li> <li>Commercial, military, or school construction project experience</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Technical Knowledge</h3> <ul> <li>Low‑voltage wiring standards and best practices</li> <li>OSHA and general jobsite safety awareness</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>Work Environment</h3> <ul> <li>Commercial construction environments</li> <li>Indoor and outdoor installations</li> <li>Ladder and lift work required</li> <li>Regional travel may be required (per diem provided when applicable)</li> </ul> <hr> <h3>What We’re Looking For</h3> <p>Successful candidates will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Strong teamwork and reliability</li> <li>Commitment to clean, high‑quality installations</li> <li>A desire to learn, grow, and advance within the organization</li> </ul> <hr></li> </ul> </div> <p><em>Disclaimer: This job description is not all encompassing of job responsibilities and is not in any way a binding document.
