Installation & Service Technician

Leeward Islands Lifestyle Services Ltd., home to Leeward Islands Hurricane Protection and SignPro is Antigua's leading manufacturer and supplier of hurricane and security shutters. We also offer a wide range of signage products and are known to provide the largest selection of trophies, plaques, and medallions on the island. We are seeking to recruit an Installation and Service Technician to join our dedicated team of professionals.

JOB SUMMARY 
To provide quality service to customers by building, preparing and installing various types of signage products to include but not limited to; banners, billboards, posters, LED signs, light boxes, monument signs, sidewalk boards. Additional installations may include various types of hurricane and security products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Secure and transport necessary materials and tools to job sites;
• Conduct site surveys to determine installation feasibility and plan logistics;
  
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE);
  
• Prepare and install various signage products, including banners, billboards, posters, LED signs, lightboxes, monument signs, and sidewalk boards;
• Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment, including ladders, lifts, drills, and power tools;
• Perform precise measurements and ensure proper alignment and leveling of signs;
• Mount signs securely using appropriate hardware and techniques; and
• Maintain a clean and professional worksite
• Install complete or partial vehicle wraps using high-quality vinyl materials; and
• Apply vinyl graphics to various surfaces, adhering to strict attention to detail and ensuring smooth, bubble-free application.
• Utilize sandblasting techniques for lettering and designs on headstones and other surfaces;
• Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on installed signage
• Respond to customer service calls regarding signage issues; and
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sign installation or a related field
• Experience with vehicle wraps and vinyl application is a strong asset;
• Familiarity with sandblasting techniques is preferred;
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to working at heights and with power tools;
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship;
• Strong physical condition with the ability to lift and carry heavy objects;
• Valid driver's license preferred not mandatory; 
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; and
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
