Lead Installation Technician

<p>For over 30 years, System Integrations has had a mission to provide <strong>innovative</strong> <strong>technology</strong> services by upholding the <strong>best</strong> in customer service and <strong>accountability</strong> for our commitments.&nbsp;We value dependability, optimism, innovation, professionalism, and a good sense of humor.&nbsp;If you are passionate about what you do and like to be challenged to achieve excellence – we’d love to meet you.</p> <p>We are seeking experienced <strong>Lead installation technicians</strong> who are personable, have good communication skills, love leading others to success, and are proud of the quality of their work.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Preferred candidates will have three to five years’ experience in at least one of the following:</span></p> <ol> <li><strong>Leadership:</strong> Leading small teams for the installation of low voltage cabling and/or security device installations</li> <li><strong>Cabling</strong>: Standards based installation of low voltage cables for Network infrastructure, Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Audio/Video Systems.</li> <li><strong>Electrical Work</strong>: Installation of various low voltage devices such as security cameras, card readers, door locks, racks, cable tray and conduit.</li> <li><strong>Tools and Equipment:</strong> Safely operate and use of hand tools, powered hand tools, ladders, lifts, and company vehicles.</li> </ol> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Regional Notes:</span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Knoxville Area</strong> – Lead Technicians are responsible to meet installation technicians at the local job site each day. <em>A company vehicle is assigned for this position.</em></li> <li><strong>Nashville Area</strong> – Lead Technicians meet at the SI Main office each day. <em>Vehicles are checked out daily</em>.</li> <li><strong>Memphis Area</strong> – Lead Technicians are responsible to meet Lead Tech at the local job site each day. <em>A company vehicle is assigned for this position.</em></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Day to Day Responsibilities include:</span></p> <ul> <li>Lead one to two installation technicians to meet high quality standards of installation</li> <li>Install cabling, security devices, and low voltage equipment in existing and new construction</li> <li>Commission, test, and document installations using cable testers, video monitors, and remote support.</li> <li>Assist in onsite tracking of materials used on the job site.</li> <li>Report time used and progress of installation to Lead Technicians, Project Leaders, and Project Managers using computer or phone applications as required.</li> <li>Assist in on the Job training for installation technicians.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Basic Qualifications:</span></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li> <li>Experience running cables in a commercial setting.</li> <li>Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.</li> <li>Must be able to differentiate colors.</li> <li>Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What we offer...</span></strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Payroll:</span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Employees Paid Weekly – Direct Deposit.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Vacation Accrual:</span></p> <ul> <li>Accrual time based on Anniversary date – December 31.</li> <li>Begins accruing time after 90 days.</li> <li>If vacation is not used, it is paid out at the end of the year.</li> </ul> <p>1 year<strong>-&nbsp;</strong>5 days of Vacation (40 hours)</p> <p>2 years-<strong> </strong>10 days of Vacation (80 hours)</p> <p>15 years-<strong>&nbsp;</strong>15 days of Vacation (120 hours)</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">9 Paid Holidays:</span></p> <ul> <li>New Year’s Day</li> <li>Good Friday</li> <li>Memorial Day</li> <li>July 4th</li> <li>Labor Day</li> <li>Thanksgiving (2 Days)</li> <li>Christmas (2 Days)</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Sick Time:</span></p> <ul> <li>Accrual starts after 90 days.</li> <li>Accrue 4 hours per month</li> <li>Sick time rolls over into next year up to a 96 hours (12 days) cap.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Insurance/ HSA Account:</span></p> <ul> <li>Eligible after 60 days</li> <li>Life- $25,000 policy paid by SI</li> <li>Medical, Dental, &amp;
