A few of highlights of the instructor’s day to day are: coaching, developing, and collaborating with instructors, curriculum, to share expertise and recommendations for improvements. Creates a world-class experience through brand ownership from end to end through every personal interaction.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">years experience in industry (or equivalent experience) </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">(including bootcamp tenure)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">NPS 90+</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Average Relevant KPIs 4+</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Taught at least 2 cohorts as an Instructor for one of our bootcamps</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong promoter of boot camps and 2U</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Instructional Coaching and Support. </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">The main focus of this role will be in supporting new and improving instructors who could use additional support in their classroom practice.</span></li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Use Learning &amp; Development resources, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">including The Teaching Rubric,</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> to support excellent instruction</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Share personal experiences of learning and growth as an instructor</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Collaborate with other instructional support team members (RAMs and SSMs) to streamline and target improvement efforts</span></li> </ul> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Curriculum Consulting &amp; Partnership.</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Principal Instructor, as a proven instructional and subject matter expert, will play a key role in surfacing the critical opportunities for curriculum advancement directly to and with the curriculum team</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></li> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide feedback to the curriculum team in a constructive and collaborative way</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Review proposals from curriculum team for future edits and iterations</span></li> </ul> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Representing Boot Camps Programs - Internal.</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">As Brand Ambassadors, Principal Instructors will be clear and active promoters of the boot camps within the instructional staff community and beyond. Brand ambassador action steps might include:</span></li> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Attend program Demo Days</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Facilitating admissions events, instructor learning opportunities, or instructional recognition events.&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Logistics:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">10 maximum hours per month (2-3 hours per week)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fully remote</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The principal instructor role is selected at the beginning of each term.
