About the Role
As an Insurance Agent at the Mitch Jones Agency, you’ll work directly under a seasoned agency owner, getting firsthand experience in every aspect of building and operating a thriving insurance business. You’ll master client relations, sales, operations, and leadership—setting the stage for you to eventually own your own Farmers Insurance agency!
Your journey starts with in-depth training and support, guiding you from agent to entrepreneur under the trusted Farmers banner.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow your client base through networking, prospecting, and community engagement
Deliver expert guidance on insurance options, tailoring solutions for each unique client
Forge lasting relationships with clients through regular communication and policy reviews
Consistently exceed sales targets while ensuring long-term client satisfaction
Learn the ins and outs of agency operations, strategic planning, and leadership
Keep up with the latest industry trends and Farmers Insurance offerings
What We’re Looking For
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger for ownership
Proven ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
Willingness to obtain (or currently hold) state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health)
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
