<p>As we continue to grow and advance our technological capabilities, we are seeking a talented Hardware Quality Engineer to join our R&D department based in Geneva. As part of our Test and Releasing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and usability of our advanced quantum sensors, detectors, cryostats, and electronic boards, which are integrated into larger quantum networking systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in electronics and timing-based systems, combined with a rigorous approach to testing.</p>

<p><strong><span class="s1">What you'll be doing</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute stress tests, functional tests, and usability tests for hardware and embedded systems.</li>
<li>Perform unit testing and validation of electronic boards, FPGA logic, and computer (COM Express, PLC) modules.</li>
<li>Test and validate quantum sensors, detectors, and cryogenic systems for performance and reliability.</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineering teams to identify design issues and propose improvements from a usability perspective.</li>
<li>Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.</li>
<li>Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes for hardware and low-level software.</li>
<li>Support integration testing for products designed to be embedded in larger systems.</li>
<li>Support releasing process by handling customer deliverables and contributing to customer facing documentation writing or validation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span class="s1">What you'll bring</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or related field.</li>
<li>5+ years in hardware testing, embedded systems QA, or electronics validation.</li>
<li>Demonstrated expertise in electronic boards, low-level software testing, and FPGA-based systems.</li>
<li>Knowledge of electronics, FPGA development, and embedded systems (PLC).</li>
<li>Proficiency in test instrumentation (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.).</li>
<li>Ability to write scripts for automation (Python, Bashs).</li>
<li>Experience with release management and related documentation handling</li>
<li>Analytical mindset and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Proficient communication and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in English (C1 level) both written and verbal.</li>
</ul>

<li>5+ years in hardware testing, embedded systems QA, or electronics validation.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of electronics, FPGA development, and embedded systems (PLC).</li>
<li>Familiarity with cryogenic systems and precision sensors.</li>
<li>Proficiency in French (C1 level) both written and verbal</li>
