JOB SUMMARY 

The integration tester specializes in analyzing, validation and assurance of programs and projects quality to improve UniTeller business systems for optimal processes for integration with prospective partner companies. Their responsibilities revolve around ensuring systems and programs for UniTeller integration projects and internals meet quality standards as per UniTeller and Partners technical and business specifications.

They validate and suggest technical and systematic enhancements to achieve proper performance of integration. They define and execute a series of test cases to validate operation work as expected by whole system and ensure proper evidence and documentation exist for internal and external team reference.

ESEENTIAL DUTIES

The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

 

• Analyze and design test cases to cover any possible functional scenarios of system and integration.
• Execute test cases and provide documentation to prove proper functioning of system and integration.
• Keep record of defects and enhancements to solve them and reduce percentage of issues on system and integration.
• Support partners in test environments to their assigned projects or other team member projects.
• Ensure test environment is up and running for internal and external Partners.
• Follow up with Partners or internal team members within Uniteller to achieve goals.
• Document and enhance processes in and outside Integrations team.
• Work on productive incidents with proper priority.
• Have initiative on supporting different activities and incidents within Integrations team or others.
• Support in external projects from Integrations team.
• Train new and current team members of teams of specific systems.

 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Nice to have: Basic programming knowledge for different languages (Java, C++. Python, Shell Scripting)
• A strong understanding of functional and unit testing.
• A strong understanding of delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent communications skills for explaining complex implementation processes to non-experts and also to clients and organization members.
• High level written communication skills for the sake of producing the technical documentation for their integration work
• Able to provide support to external Partners.
• A capacity for working with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of some or all the technologies - LINUX, SFTP, HTTPS, TLS, SOAP/REST APIs, Postman, SoapUI, SQL.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage time effectively, set priorities appropriately.
• Able to maintain professional demeanor under stress.
• Proactive, and demonstrates ability to follow issues through to resolution.
• Nice to have: Agile Methodology knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
• Must have 2-3 years relevant experience, preferably in Financial Industry
• Exposure to system testing and integration
