About the role

About Qualitate

Qualitate is building the AI-native primary intelligence platform for enterprises, investment firms, and asset managers. We automate the entire primary research workflow, from study design and expert recruitment through AI-moderated interviews and insight synthesis — replacing weeks of manual research with hours of high-signal output.

Expert research is a broken industry dominated by legacy incumbents with expensive, manual, and slow services. Investment and corporate strategy teams spend hundreds of hours coordinating intermediaries, scheduling expert calls, and synthesizing insights across fragmented providers. The process takes weeks to produce short-lived intelligence.

Qualitate transforms this workflow by autonomously conducting expert discussions at scale using AI. Qualitate’s AI Moderator interviews thousands of experts simultaneously each month, capturing forward-looking purchasing plans, competitive displacement, and real-time ROI signals. The platform turns these interviews into quantified, time-series outputs tracking over 10,000 public and private companies, queryable instantly in natural language.

Our customers include some of the world’s largest enterprises, hedge funds, PE firms, credit investors, and venture capital firms. We’re growing fast, and this role will help support our Intelligence Strategy & Operations team.

The Role

Our Intelligence Strategy & Operations team executes high-impact market research by identifying and targeting professionals for paid engagements. Your work will support research initiatives across economic sectors and industries.

As an early team member at a fast-moving startup, this role is a launchpad. You’ll have full ownership to shape and evolve it based on what drives impact. We’re looking for someone who moves with urgency and collaborates closely with senior leadership to build scalable processes.

What the day-to-day looks like:

  • Audience identification. Identify and reach out to targeted audiences for market research surveys and interviews.

  • Participant outreach. Manage outreach and communication with potential survey participants throughout the engagement.

  • Voice surveys. Conduct and manage paid voice surveys across diverse sectors and industries.

  • Data quality. Ensure data integrity through rigorous follow-up and analysis.

  • Insights & analysis. Analyze survey results and present findings clearly and efficiently.

  • Cross-functional collaboration. Partner with internal teams to manage timelines and ensure project success.

  • Client communications. Support client-facing communications with professionalism and responsiveness.

  • Operator and strategist. Wear many hats, delivering on daily responsibilities while keeping an eye on product improvements and identifying opportunities to scale the business.

Who This Role Is For

  • 1–3+ years in market research, ideally in a coordination or associate capacity.

  • Sample recruiting and survey experience. You’ve worked across sample recruiting, surveys, and expert interviews.

  • Excellent communicator. You write and speak clearly across internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Self-starter mentality. You thrive in fast-paced startup environments and don’t need to be managed closely.

  • Strong relationship-builder. You build rapport quickly and maintain trusted professional relationships.

  • Commitment to the work. You bring the hours, ownership, and energy needed to meet aggressive timelines and deliver for clients.

What Sets You Apart

  • Networking passion. You have a natural drive to meet new people and build connections.

  • Strategic thinker. You think outside the box and find creative solutions and growth ideas.

  • Fast-paced experience. You’ve worked in environments where pace and ambiguity are the norm.

  • Growth mindset. You're willing to learn, adapt, dream big, and consistently push for more responsibility.

  • Bias toward action. You’re resourceful and move quickly to get things done.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $110K–$140K depending on experience.

  • Equity: Meaningful early-stage grant with upside tied to company growth.

  • Benefits: Health coverage, flexible PTO, paid holidays.

  • Location: Full-time, in-person in New York City.

What to expect working at Qualitate

  • Excellence. You’ll be held accountable to an exceptionally high bar and impact.

  • High velocity. Fast-paced work environment in terms of growth, decision making, and time to impact.

  • High agency. Ownership over how you work, not just what you work on. We hire people we trust to figure it out.

  • A builder’s mindset. You’ll create the processes, playbooks, and systems that define how this company scales.

  • Shared ambition. A small, early team disrupting the multi-billion dollar market research industry with AI.

  • Joy. We work hard and genuinely enjoy working with each other. Dedication to our work is matched only by our passion for fostering an enjoyable, collaborative work environment.
