The International Logistic Leader is part of the out of Gauge team, which reports to the Industrial Operations domain and more specifically the Supply Chain department. This team is localized in Saint-Ouen (93), in our Headquarter.
As International Logistic Leader, you will report to the out of Gauge team manager.
To source and to manage different types of projects, from national (mostly via Railway and Roads) to more complex international ones For Out Of Gauge / Exceptional Transport(overseas or other kind of transports) for out of Gauge/exceptional Transport.
As per the Team workload, he(she) will be able to source and to manage different type of projects and contracts.
To ensure through adequate sourcing and operational management the delivery of products (mainly trains) to customers or project sites.
Sourcing :
- Specifications writing
- Negotiates and establish contracts complying with Alstom requirements
- Makes sure that suppliers selected are complying with internal rules & process
- Budget management on related projects
- Contributes to the definition and implementation of the Indirect Sourcing strategy for given commodities
Field Operations – Industrial Operations - To manage transportation project as per Alstom buying and selling incoterms, including export/import formalities
- Full Project implementation (Kick-off meetings, Method Of Statements, Documentations, to supervise physically at least 1st loading/unloading, etc. …)
- To participate to Alstom’s Customer meeting with the Project Manager
- Promotes information and best practice sharing over the internal customer community
- Reports OTD & QCD results on a monthly basis as well as improvement projects including supplier evaluation according to rules towards Industrial Operations/Indirect Sourcing management
- To promote and to initiate Continuous Improvement
- Master in logistics or supply chain field
- 5 years experience in a supply Chain position: validated experiences in logistics, transport and lifting
- Knowledge on international safety rules for construction site, construction plants and track work equipment is a plus
- Fluent in English, other language is a plus
- Structured/Rigorous, Proactive with a team spirit approach and good communication skills
- Willing to travel (in average 20% of time)
- OTD (One Time Delivery) in full line with Projects needs
- QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) optimization generated compared to budget
- Upstream involvement in transportation projects
- Best practices sharing and implementation across organization
