Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your international logistics and exceptional transport expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and innovative teammates. You'll play a key role in managing transport solutions for strategic projects, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of out-of-gauge products (primarily finished trains) to our customers or project sites. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as site supply chain management, Procurement team and project teams), collaborate with external partners (including transport suppliers and end final customers (occasionally), and oversee transport operations. You’ll also engage in tender phases, sourcing strategies, and project execution.

We’ll look to you for:

Procurement

  • Collect and analyze project requirements and specifications
  • Prepare transport specifications for RFPs.
  • Analyze and assess technical and financial proposals from transport providers.
  • Lead technical negotiations and recommend the final transport partner.
  • Present and explain Project award to Project team in Collaboration with Procurement Team, deliver a turnkey transport solution to Project Management
  • Size Transportation Budget

Project Implementation and Execution

  • Prepare Transport Method Statements and all technical documentation required for safe and compliant execution.
  • Lead Project implementation : run Kick-off meetings and support Project team in customer‑facing discussions to ensure all stakeholders clearly understand the transport solution
  • Manage transportation schedule to meet contractual deliverables: define sequence of tasks, drive coordination between all stakeholders
  • Oversee all transport operations, including documentation and export/import formalities.
  • Handle unexpected events and secure alternative solutions to maintain safe, on-time delivery.
  • Monitor project performance through quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) reporting and contribute to supplier evaluations.
  • Manage and challenge transport providers, ensuring quality, performance, and the ability to implement scope adjustments when required.
  • Travel internationally to supervise critical on‑site operations (such as first loading/unloading) and key project meetings

A university degree in international transport or supply chain management

Proficiency in English (fluent level)

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or out-of-gauge (OOG) transport

Strong leadership, initiative, and decision-making skills

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction

Team spirit and excellent communication skills

Fluency in French and a master’s degree in a related field would be a plus
