<p>Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.</p>
<p>The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials to internal teams. This role plays a key part in supporting service, maintenance, engineering, and operations by keeping inventory organized, accessible, and moving efficiently across facilities.</p>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Inventory Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate inventory through <strong>cycle counting</strong>, audits, and system updates</li>
<li>Perform scheduled and ad-hoc <strong>cycle counts</strong>, investigate variances, and support inventory adjustments</li>
<li>Track inbound and outbound materials using inventory systems (MES/ERP or similar)</li>
<li>Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of parts and materials</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or discrepancies proactively</li>
<li>Support service parts inventory and replenishment needs</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Part Running / Internal Support</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver parts and materials to engineering, maintenance, and operations teams as needed</li>
<li>Support urgent part requests and prioritize time-sensitive deliveries</li>
<li>Assist maintenance teams by staging and delivering service parts.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Support Shipping & Receiving</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Receive inbound shipments and verify contents against packing lists and purchase orders</li>
<li>Prepare outbound shipments including packaging, labeling, and staging for carrier pickup</li>
<li>Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of materials</li>
<li>Maintain shipping and receiving documentation accuracy</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Equipment & Safety</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area</li>
<li>Follow all safety, inventory control, and compliance procedures</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience in inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or operations preferred</li>
<li><strong>Valid driver’s license with a good driving record</strong></li>
<li><strong>Forklift driving experience</strong> (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)</li>
<li>Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and staging materials</li>
<li>Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li>
<li>Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs</li>
<li>Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods</li>
</ul>
<p>The US hourly range for this full-time position is between $35/hr to $40/hr.</p>
<p>The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended. </p>
