The Opportunity

You've spent the last three to four years building DCFs, LBOs, and three-statement models, reading 10-Ks late into the night, and producing work that's gone in front of MDs and clients. Now imagine putting those same skills to work on a different kind of problem: teaching frontier AI models how to reason through corporate finance the way a trained banker does. That's what this residency is.

What We're Looking For

• 3–4+ years of IB or Corporate Finance experience at a top international bank (bulge bracket, elite boutique, or top-tier global advisory).

• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills in Excel.

• Thorough understanding of financial statements, valuation, and financial modelling.

• Skilled at extracting and interpreting data from filings, earnings materials, and investor presentations.

• High attention to detail, with excellent summarisation and written communication skills.

• Able to produce structured analytical outputs with clear explanations of methodology.

Project Info

• Design and build financial analysis scenarios tailored to your area of expertise.

• Create annotated financial models that demonstrate analytical logic.

• Structure data extraction and analysis tasks from public company materials.

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and professional quality.

• Minimum 20+ hours per week.

• Remote, asynchronous contract.

• Contribute to a research initiative with a leading foundational AI lab; help enhance AI capabilities in corporate finance modelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review challenging finance scenarios and prompts to advance AI reasoning.

• Build, adapt, and annotate financial models to highlight key logic and decision-making.

• Review and validate assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy.

• Maintain well-organised documentation and uphold internal standards.
