This role will support the execution of Rexford’s investor relations strategy, external communications, investor engagement, and market analysis. The Senior Associate will play an important role in helping articulate the company’s strategy, financial performance, capital allocation priorities, and market positioning to the investment community.</p> <p>This position reports to the SVP, Investor Relations and works closely with Finance, Investments, Legal, Operations, and Executive Leadership. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, sound judgment, executive-ready communication skills, and the ability to translate complex financial, operating, and market information into clear, compelling messaging.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> #LI-Hybrid / Los Angeles, CA</p> <p><strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Hybrid (combination of in-office and remote)</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Investor Communication &amp; Messaging</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage key components of the quarterly earnings process, including preparation of earnings releases, supplemental disclosures, investor presentations, talking points, and Q&amp;A materials</li> <li>Develop and refine clear, consistent messaging around:</li> </ul> <ul> <ul> <li>Portfolio strategy and capital allocation</li> <li>Operating performance and key financial metrics</li> <li>Market dynamics and sector positioning</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Draft and refine executive-ready external communications, including conference remarks, investor materials, shareholder communications, and investor-facing updates</li> </ul> <p><strong>Investor Engagement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare briefing materials, meeting notes, and follow-up items for investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and engagement with analysts and shareholders</li> <li>Maintain and enhance investor targeting lists, shareholder profiles, and CRM systems to support proactive investor outreach and relationship management</li> <li>Synthesize investor feedback, sell-side commentary, market sentiment, and post-earnings themes into actionable insights for the SVP and senior leadership</li> </ul> <p><strong>Analysis &amp; Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and analyze sell-side research, consensus estimates, earnings revisions, analyst models, and investor expectations</li> <li>Track peer performance, valuation metrics, REIT sector trends, capital markets activity, and industrial real estate market dynamics</li> <li>Prepare internal reporting that summarizes investor perceptions, valuation trends, trading activity, market sentiment, and relative positioning</li> <li>Develop investor-focused analytics, benchmarks, and presentation materials to support executive decision-making and external messaging</li> </ul> <p><strong>Strategic Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Investments, Operations, Legal, and other teams to gather data, validate key messages, and ensure alignment across internal and external reporting</li> <li>Support the SVP, Investor Relations by preparing executive briefings, anticipating investor and analyst questions, and managing follow-up items from key engagements</li> <li>Contribute to Board, management, and investor-related materials with a focus on investor sentiment, external market positioning, and key public company metrics</li> <li>Support special projects related to capital markets strategy, shareholder targeting, investor perception, external messaging, and investor outreach</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field</li> <li>Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance, or real estate finance</li> <li>Demonstrated experience supporting quarterly earnings processes, investor messaging, external communications, or public company disclosure materials</li> <li>Strong understanding of REITs, real estate fundamentals, public company reporting, valuation methodologies, and capital markets dynamics</li> <li>Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with investor databases, CRM platforms, market data tools, or IR systems is preferred</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft polished, executive-ready materials with strong attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, recurring deadlines, confidential information, and high-visibility deliverables with sound judgment and professionalism</li> <li>Must be located in Southern California</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <p>Rexford Industrial’s total rewards program includes a competitive benefits package, bonus eligibility, and long-term equity opportunities. The expected annual salary range for this role is $115,000 to $145,000 with eligibility for a 20% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grants.* Actual base salary and total compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, specialized skills, education, certifications, and work location.
