We like to promote from within: Here’s your chance.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who’s who in the tech space</strong></p> <p>This position reports to an Engineering Manager&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your mission, should you choose to accept it:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take ownership, build, and maintain our bleeding-edge mobile e-commerce iOS application.</li> <li>Modernise legacy codebase and drive platform evolution</li> <li>Design, develop, and test code written in Swift</li> <li>Apply best practices and ensure the stability and security of the applications.</li> <li>Monitor and profile application performance.</li> <li>Take part in daily standups, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.</li> <li>Collaborate with creative, content, and engineering teams to design and develop a world-class iOS mobile application.</li> <li>Publish applications to the Apple App Store</li> </ul> <p><strong>The skills we need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong programming fundamentals.</li> <li>Experience in architecting, developing, testing, and maintaining iOS mobile applications.</li> <li>Demonstrated best practices in the implementation of SwiftUI</li> <li>Experience with network requests to RESTful APIs (JSON) using best practices.</li> <li>Full understanding of the iOS application, view-controller, and tableview life-cycles.</li> <li>Appreciation of iOS-specific asynchronous processing techniques.</li> <li>Knowledge and Appreciation of iOS user experience design patterns.</li> <li>Experience using GIT version control.</li> <li>Experience developing in an Agile team environment</li> <li>Experience using CI/CD (CircleCI)</li> <li>Experience using Fastlane</li> <li>Experience using Cocoapods</li> <li>Experience using Swift Package Manager</li> <li>Github Actions</li> <li>Be accountable, engaging, and inventive.</li> <li>Work alongside a QA engineer regarding testing and product finalisation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Figma and Miro.</li> <li>Experience with Google Maps, Firebase &amp; Braze.</li> <li>Any Android experience.</li> <li>Experience using AI to generate and/or validate code</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Information Technology or Computer Science Degree or equivalent of 5 years relevant experience.&nbsp;</li> <li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience for an <strong>Intermediate Software Engineer</strong></li> <li>Minimum 5-8+ years of experience for a <strong>Senior Software Engineer </strong>coupled with tech lead experience</li> <li>Solid experience with SwiftUI</li> </ul> <p><strong>Let’s talk about life @ Mr D&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>The power is in your hands</strong>: We offer a market-related, Total Remuneration Package which allows full flexibility according to your needs.
