Of course, the service oriented IT Administrator, we’re looking for, is technical by nature, but it is obvious that softer skills play an important role in achieving excellence:

• A strong communication and good understanding of the organization’s business, paired with analytical skills and the ability to identify optimization potential, are basic demands;
•  You’ll need to respond to a broad range of service requests, which need to get analyzed and categorized, as first line of investigation;
• The handling, coordination, monitoring and documentation of the issue, from the start to the resolution, will be in your hands, but if needed, a problem can be escalated to a higher level of support or a dedicated support group;
• Beside these service related activities, you’ll work close together with the Corporate IT Department and the System & Network Operations Supervisors to improve the IT environment.

 

 

Formal requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a system administrator;
• English language skills, written and spoken (must be used daily);
• Good communication and problem solving skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Understanding business processes, be systematic and structured in your daily work;
• Advanced knowledge of network architectures, topologies and protocols (routing and switching);
• Experience in managing virtualised server environments based on VMWare products;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Office 365;
• driver license class B.
