Role Overview:

The IT & AV Manager will oversee the technology infrastructure and audiovisual systems of the convention center, ensuring seamless event operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.

• Oversee audiovisual (AV) systems, including lighting, sound, and display technologies.

• Ensure smooth integration of IT and AV systems for events.

• Develop IT security policies and data protection strategies.

• Maintain and troubleshoot IT and AV equipment.

• Lead IT support teams to assist staff and guests.

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate technology contracts.

• Research and implement new technologies to enhance operations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 7+ years of experience in IT and AV management.

• Strong knowledge of network administration and cybersecurity.

• Experience with AV systems and event technology.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong project management and team leadership abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of IT compliance and data security standards.
